Choc Chips Cookies

Last Saturday me and my little boy went to Putrajaya for mini gathering with 'mak-mak' from cari forum. Got to know them since Hairee was in my belly and our friendship is still going on strong until now, in fact I think I much closer to them than my other friends since we talked almost every weeks thru forum or FB or chatting.

So for the gathering this time we had it at Puan Rose's house (sian rose, rumah bersepah di buat oleh kanak2 riang dan emak2 riang). I baked Choc Chips Cookies for everyone as part of the theme 'potluck' (nak masak lauk, i'm not very good indeed..so next time insyallah). Harap2 semua kawan suka cookies tu..first time buat sepanjang aku hidup ini, start buat dari pukul 7pagi tau.

My 3rd cookies pulak atas hangus, bawah tak masak..hahaha

Finally 4th attempts and the rest turn out ok but still not up to my satisfaction. I adjusted the oven setting from 250'C for 10minutes  to 180'C for 7minutes (gambar takde..dah lambat siap2 nak keluar).

So, utk puan rose dan zaara inilah recipenya, kalau korang nak lebih crunch letak lebih sikit tepung jagung and butter.

2 cups butter

3 cups flour
1 cup corn flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups brown sugar
5 cups blended oatmeal (blend in blender to a fine powder)
1 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp. salt
1/2 Cadbury bar (grated)
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
3 cups chopped nuts (your choice)
2 tsp. vanilla

cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Cadbury bar and nuts. Roll into balls and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet.. bake for 7-8 minutes at 180 degrees.
